I'm so sorry he's had a setback. I can only imagine the emotional toll all of this has taken on your entire family and especially you. Prayers that your DS recovers quickly from this and that he continues to improve from here on out.
Personally, I am so thankful that you've chosen to share with us these experiences for a number of reasons. First of all, I didn't know a single thing about lyme disease prior to reading about it from you. I have since been reading up and trying to better understand how to protect my family. It is entirely possible that you will single-handedly spare someone immense suffering by posting here. What a service! Secondly, as a mom with a child with special medical needs, I know how isolating it can be to parent in similar circumstances. The truth is sometimes our IRL friends (or even family) get flat out tired of hearing about our rollercoaster rides. It's a powerful thing to be able to support someone when they need it. I am honored that you give us the opportunity to be a support to you. It's really a privilege and I thank you for it. Finally, your fierce determination to provide the best possible care for your son is truly inspirational to me as a mother. You take advocate to a whole new level. So please, keep posting. I will keep reading, keep praying, keep learning, and keep aspiring to do more for my own children. Thank you.

Praying for your family right now--I know that you've been through so much. Your son sounds so sweet to offer to sleep on the couch.
Pleae don't apologize for Educating us about Lyme. I have learned so much from you!
