Default Anyone want to help...Plants Vs. Zombies Party Ideas?

My son wants a Plants vs Zombies party. So far I found these plant parfaits I can make:

    I ordered these

to add to the top of a Costco cake.

I thought these might be cute for favors...

But not sure if little boys would like them.

Any other ideas? Maybe some games? You guys always give me inspiration because I feel like I am struggling with this one. Last year was Angry Birds and there's so much out there that it was easy!

Our friends son had a zombie party and his mom made awesome cupcakes.

    she bought these Zombie hands

    http://www.birthdaydirect.com/zombie...2-p-28825.html

made chocolate cupcakes... topped with oreo cookie crumbs (to look like dirt). Then she placed a Milano cookie in it and wrote RIP in lime green (to look like a headstone) and had the zombie hand popping up in front of the headstone. Everyone thought they were great!

    This mom went ALL OUT!

    Etsy has a few things

Here is a pinterest that has lots of plants vs zombies stuff

just checked the photo I had from the party and the writing on the milano cookie headstones was actually just brown or black... wish I could share a pic... they are on facebook.

Those zombie hands are so fun! I may have to add in some cupcakes. Great ideas, thanks!

We just had a party and the kids LOVED the mini sticky hands we had in the pinata. I think gooey sticky hands would be a fun thing to add to the party favor bag!

Here is a cute Plants vs zombies themed cub scout party

You could get a "brain" mold and do some kind of food in it, like jello or ice cream, or use small ones to make soap or crayons for favors. Brains are what the zombies want, after all! There should be a lot more PvZ toys coming out soon, as PopCap is starting to license them. http://techcrunch.com/2012/04/30/eas...nderwear-more/

I have a feeling a PvZ party may be in our future, so I will keep an eye on this thread.

My kids love sticky anything so that's a good favor idea. That game they did for cub scouts with the marshmallow shooters is a great idea too. Looks pretty easy to set up. And how could I not think of brain jello!!! Love it! I put on the invitation...you will be here if you have half a brain so I definitely need some brain goodies. Thanks ladies for the help...keep it coming!

I was thinking about daisy cupcakes, but since you are doing the cake I like the figurines on the cake. DD1 has some of those (my brother introduced her to P vs. Z).

Green brain jello would be fun. You could do a sling shot contest with the marshmallows, or if it is going to be hot use some water balloons.

What about looking for one of those play lawn mowers that emit bubbles?

a bubble mower would be fun ... maybe set up an obstacle course for the kids? push the bubble mower and zig zag through the cones.... stop and shoot the zombies with the marshmallow shooter/sling shot/bean bag .... etc.

Obstacle course with bubble lawn mower (we have one) is a fabulous idea. Just showed my husband the zombie hands and he loved them. And I just emailed this to my dad to see if he could make it (I would paint it) to take pictures of the kids at the party with

Bumping this up to see if anyone has any other favor ideas. I have 20 (ugh) kids coming now and I am a fan of 1 item instead of a bag of junk (although I will do that if I have to!).
