I just wanted to let others know if you are in this situation of trying to collect money from other parents for end of year gift or PTO thing or whatever. Besides the usually check/cash route this year I used Amazon gift cards. Since I send out emails and everyone has my email they can just go to Amazon and pick the gift card option and send it to my email address in the amount they want. I don't need to use it for the actually gift, I just keep a total of the $ donated that way. I can always use the credit for something on Amazon I would buy any way. It worked for me because there were no fees involved like paypal and I find everyone has an Amazon account. People still send me checks also.
