Default How do you use a microfiber mop without it "sticking" to the floor?

Serious question! I tried mopping my floors last night with a microfiber mop, and the head just keeps "sticking" to the floor whenever I try to move it. I'm using a vinegar/water solution in a bottle and spraying the floor prior to mopping the area. DH couldn't get it to work, either, so I ended up on my hands and knees doing the whole floor manually (900 sq ft!). Not a long term solution, obviously, so I'd like to hear how you all do it!

    Thanks in advance!

I kwym. I try to make sure it is more wet to prevent that issue. However, with that said, we recently discovered pledge's spray floor cleaner and we are in love with it, even though it's obviously not as natural as vinegar and water. It glides much easier, but doesn't leave a film, which is what I would have expected it to do.
