At one point I knew "Moo, Baa, La La La" by heart, I'd read it to DD while I was looking elsewhere and doing something else. There are several others that I could probably do as well if I tried. Goodnight Moon was never a favorite of mine, so the words to that don't come quite as easily.

Yes to Goodnight Moon, and also Tumble, Bumble and Big Red Barn.

I can still recite large portions of "The Hunting of the Snark" by Lewis Carroll by heart because it has always been one of DS's favorites.

Another popular one for us is Good Night Gorilla.

He loves founding the mouse in every pic - ditto for Good Night Moon.

my DD could recite it as well at age 2! She's finally moved onato other books...DH doesn't get the appeal of the book, I have to explain it is a classic with a soothing ring to it that all little ones catch onto and love.
