Garmin or iPhone app or ?

I swear I don't work for TomTom, but we also have a stand-alone TomTom unit as a backup to the app. It's fine but the one on the phone is so convenient.

We paid for the traffic upgrade which has saved us tons of time on long road trips. I also like that it locates speed cameras and red light cameras. TomTom also has good maps for Europe and other places if that's important to you - that's how we got our first one (before we had iPhones), DH bought it because he was traveling over there so much and wanted the traffic and speed camera data.
