DS is 11 months and is in Pampers swaddlers sensitive size 3 diapers. Whenever he is without pants or while changing his diaper or during bath, he reaches down to his testicles and the area around to scratch. We slather it in aquaphor and its not like he has a diaper rash. He has managed to scratch and turn it quite red a few times.
He is prone to eczema though so we do use plain Dove for bathing and Cerave afterwards on his body. We have a prescription steroid ointment which I have not used on him since a long time since his eczema is under control.
What could I do about his itchy diaper area? Could he be sensitive to the diaper, should I try another brand? (CD is not an option) Anything I can use on that area?
