Default Source for varied candy bars?

I am doing the candy bar game for a baby shower next weekend, and I need to find a lot of different kinds of candy. What is your vote for the best spot to find the most....hopefully cheap. I don't think we have a candy store. Is Walmart the way to go?

This is what I am talking about:

Halloween candies are starting to appear in stores, so you might have good luck with that.

You can get a variety pack of Hershey's minis (will cover Mr. Goodbar for sure) and there are usually packs of non-chocolates available, too.

Even then, you'd probably be spending upwards of $25 on candy.

Walgreens usually has a big selection of individual bars if you are not wanting a whole pack of each kind.

I think Walgreens or convenience stores would have the most variety.

Sometimes I like to make those candybar posters/stories as birthday gifts for grown-ups. IMO, the best source is usually your local gas station/truck stop. Gas stations tend to have really great candybar selections, including some of those hard-to-find old fashioned kinds!

I would try a CVS or Rite-Aid or similar. If you really want cheap, you could check online circulars first for stores like that near you, sometimes they have deals on candy bars (3 for $1, etc).

Do you have a Five Below? I was looking for Mike & Ike's in blue & pink and that's where I ended up finding them. I was surprised by the selection thy had.
