Default B-ready top seat and infants?

Does anyone know why it says that the top seat is only for infants 6 months+? Is it just because of the recline?

I like the seat better for our almost 3 month old and seems like it reclines enough to me (although not completely flat, at least as much as he would be in the rock n play/swing/etc.). Our toddler is almost too big for that seat (it's hard to get him in and out around the bar) and I don't really like having the baby down low either. Just wondering why I'm not supposed to be putting him there.

I used it for DD2 at 3 months. It seems fine to me with a snuzzler

They may be using the UK standard, which calls for almost completely flat/no bucket seats for under 6 months, I would be totally fine with it for a 3 month old.

Just want to point out incase you don't know, the bar comes undone and swings down to let the kid in and out and it is also completely removable. You toddler should fit ok in the seat as my 5 year old can fit.

Thanks, that's good to know, esp for stuff like the zoo where it would be better to have him in front/top.
