Not sure this is the right place for this post, but anyone ever use the knot genie on your DC? DD has curls and I thought it might be worth it if it truly works, but not sure. is it just like any regular brush/comb?

I bought it based on recs here and it was a total bust for us.
However, I later bought

based on other recs and it is awesome! It has made a big difference in brushing DC's curly hair. Definitely worth it!
I don't think it's that fabulous, to be honest.

We bought the Wet Brush. Both of my girls have super fine and it works really well for them, and DD1 can brush her hair on her own now quite well. Do I think it is life changing probably not, but I think dependent on the hair type I think it works well.

In my experience it is no better than a comb and detangling spray. But both my girls have fine, straight hair.

We have a wet brush and a tangle teezer. I prefer the wet brush. I think it is gentler on the hair, and has a handle (the tangle teezer always flies out of my hands when brushing!). The TT is okay, but it is cheaply made (just a small plastic brush that looks like a dog brush IMO). Both do the job though.

We don't have the one posted OP, but I did buy four of the wet brushes that Melbel (I think) posted a few months back and they are the only brush that my girls use (I have three daughters). My highly sensitive oldest daughter with REALLY thick hair can't tolerate anything other than the wet brush.
Awesome. Thanks. I will look into getting the wet brush!
I guess I'm in the minority but we love our knot genie brush!
