In short, our kitchen renovation will start one month later than I thought. Which will push up against a timeframe I didn't want it to, which will drag it out even more, and that's if the whole thing runs on exactly on schedule which it probably won't.

Lol, I love the modern family reference! I totally get it. We had a whole series of projects that were OVER a month delayed and then there was also a gap midway through, due to a scheduling conflict with a subcontractor. I was NOT a happy camper and worse yet there were all kinds of stupid issues during the project. I hope that even though yours will be running late that it will at least go smoothly for you.
