    Default What is HomeGoods?

I hear a lot of people reference this store. There isn't one nearby, and I'm wondering if it is worth a 1.5hr drive? I'd love to understand more of what's there or another store to which it could be compared. Is it like Target?

It's owned by TJMaxx/Marshall's, so imagine their home sections but bigger. It's hit or miss IME. I wouldn't drive 1.5 hours just for it.

It's owned by marshalls/TJ Maxx. It's Marshalls for home stuff---pillows, home accents, small pieces of furniture, wall decor, etc.

I believe It's owned by TJ Maxx. It's a discount store that sells only home goods. We have one and it's pretty cool. They have kitchen goods, furniture, lamps, towels, bedding, decor.

No, it's not worth a 1.5 hour drive. It's not like IKEA which is a destination because it is the only place you can get their products. It's just a really expanded Home section of TJ Maxx, and there's no way to know what will be there until you show up.

Christmas Tree Shops are somewhat similar, if you're near one of those.

the one near my parent's house in litchfield park, AZ is outstanding. Like all TJMaxx stores, it depends heavily on the store. Some are great some are meh.

Agree not worth the drive. But if I am going past one anyway I'll plan to stop by one. We don't have one that close but I do like the store. But I got more lucky there when I was an apartment dweller and my decor needs were less specific and lower end.
