Oh nuts! are they getting rid of others? How did you learn this?
Just learned that Netflix is losing most of the shows my kids watch on the ipad ~ Dora, Blues Clues, Fresh Beat Band, etc. Are there any other good streaming options that would have these shows available?
Thank you!
ETA ~ it happened . . . contract negotiations must have failed. Anyone know whether there is still a chance Netflix will get these shows back, or should be just cancel???

What about Amazon Prime at $79 with access to its instant video streaming service? It has all of the Nick Jr shows such as Blues Clue and Dora.
Thanks for the heads up, as we are a Netflex family. I think that we need to switch ourselves!

They let their deal with Viacom expire, though it sounds like they will try to negotiate a new deal with more select offerings from Viacom.
DD is upstairs watching Netflix on the iMac right now. She watches Dora a lot but I haven't heard any complaining from her today now that its missing. We won't be jumping ship in Netflix just yet. She finds plenty of stuff she likes.

It's brinkmanship, Viacom says it is still in talks with Netflix.

The Nick shows don't expire until May 22. The complete list is on:

Apparently Netflix is losing over 1,700 titles.
I just want to make sure that we have a back-up plan when May 22 comesI'll look into Amazon streaming ~ does that have an app for the ipad? We are already Prime members, so we should be able to use that.
Oh this stinks. I really resent these huge changes in what my children have come to look upon as our personal dvd collection. The website is really slow but I saw immediately Caillou and the girls for some reason really like that. UGH.
Yes, amazon has an app for streaming prime video. That's how I watched the first season of downton abbey.
