Actually, has anyone seen the wiki on the characters? I just looked them up and the character descriptions for some of them are funny! Not all of them (at least the male ones) are necessarily glamour. OP which doll did your dd get? The ones I just saw on the front of the Mattel page are actually kind cute. Yes, they are have very glam faces but their outfits aren't skanky.

I think this is the textbook definition of skank. This photo shows the dresses (although not how the dress falls off the doll all the time) fishnets and shoes. http://everafterhigh.wikia.com/wiki/Merchandise The doll is called Apple White. The cartoons honestly don't do the dolls justice. They are so TRASHY.

Wow, the Apple White doll is one of the ones I saw last night. I can't tell that the dress is strapless, even with the zoom feature! Although now that I look at it, I guess the straplessness is hidden by that overblouse.

I hear ya! DD1 got a La Dee Da doll when she turned 5. It was the Viva La France doll. The see through skirt of the dress barely covered her bottom, red stockings, etc. For a just turned 5 year old! She didn't want it because of how it was dressed. We ended up replacing it with another toy from Target.
