Default Outdoor toys for big kids?

DS1 is turning 10. Any ideas for something for outdoors for him? He has the standard things - a bike, scooter, rip stick. He has a Razor A scooter and I am thinking he needs to get something bigger as his foot fills the space pretty much. Not sure what. I'd like something else for outside, but have no ideas.

What about a pogo stick, or a frisbee (maybe one of those huge soft ones?), or a rebounder if he's a ball player.

He has the pogo stick. Forgot about that! Frisbee is something we don't have.

Frisbees are great. It's not active, but a remote control plane is big fun!

I have no idea what it's called, but I saw a couple of older boys this weekend on a skateboard type thing shaped like an 8 that only had 2 wheels (one in front and one in back). It was pretty cool!

ETA: Which is apparently called a RipStik. Sorry about that!

They are pretty cool! He got one at 8. He and a friend spent every day after school for at least 2 weeks practicing and they both have it down and will ride it to school in the nice weather. It amazes me to watch them go up the hill of the driveway on it! I can do nothing .

I think we are leaning towards ramps for the scooter. He and friends try to build them out of plywood and that scares me because they fall apart as they ride over them. So, we'll get some sturdy plastic ramps for the road.

How about roller blades? My kids play roller hockey all the time in the summer.

He has some and probably could use a larger size this year. That might work well.

Well, in our household nerf guns are an outdoor toy (b/c I don't want them used indoors). So, we have this huge bin of nerf guns and I count it as exercise, b/c they run around like maniacs while using them on each other.

It's crazy, but mine don't like them! We've had them and they get ignored.
