Have you thought of giving your dog a little pack? I think it's cute when dogs wear packs.

Anyway, I also usually stuff things into my pocket. If no pockets, I use a cross body bag. I have this inexpensive sturdy one for outdoor activities.

Grocery bag is tied to the leash. We have keyless entry on the garage, so no key, but I would put a single house key on a lanyard if I needed one. Phone in a pocket. Treats - I make the kids carry them, lol. You can buy small bags that hook on the leash for treats, though.

I only carry poop bags in a little dispenser hooked up to our dog's leash, when we go for a walk. However, if I had to schlep a bunch of stuff around, I'd get a fanny pack. Yeah, not sexy, but functional for this purpose. For dog treats, when our dog was a pup and we were still doing intensive training, I bought a cloth pouch that could clip to his leash (or on the belt loop of yours pants), to hold treats. It was pretty handy. I've seen similar pouches at several discount retailers. They shouldn't be difficult to find.

I have a belt pouch when I go running. No treats. Just a roll of poop bags, and my key. My phone goes in my shorts pocket. This is when I'm running. If I'm just walking the dog, it's poop bags only and key if no one's home.

Honestly, for walks in the woods, I use the little bag that came w/my patapum toddler carrier http://www.patapum.eu/index.php/products/patapum_accessories#waist%20pouchhttp://windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/newreply.php?do=postreply&t=475947

If I have a belt (or an actual carrier) I attach it to the belt. Otherwise, I wear it across my body.

For a regular neighborhood walk, the poop bag container & miniflashlight are attached to the leash. Phone is in my pocket and treats are in a treat bag similar ot this http://www.amazon.com/RC-Pet-Product...=dog+treat+bag

My house keys are on a lanyard, but I'll admit that I rarely take them on a neighborhood walk.

eta - I dont think that the sling bag posted would work b/c it would be hard to reach treats/phone etc while moving.

I have been thinking the same thing. Leaning towards what Twinfoxes posted above. Question - what's the point or benefit of a treat bag? I use a baggie because I am carrying tiny pieces of ground beef, hot dog. Wouldn't a treat bag just get disgusting?

The benefit of a treat bag is its easy access. It hangs at your waist and is open at the top. Plus, I rarely use baggies anymore. If I dont use a treat bag, I use milk collection bottles or a mini M&M tube. I dehydrate hotdogs when I use them so they're not slimey. I also use dehydrated beef or even pork heart - fewer chemicals than hotdogs and cheaper when I make myself. I have had some treat bags get gross when they got forgotten in a training bag for a week, but generally, since I'm training frequently, I keep track of them.

Honestly, I have cockers - the treatbags stay in the fridge and containers of dried foods stay high up.... otherwise, they get eaten!

The treats I usually carry are dry, but I do use baggies inside the treat bag when carrying moist treats.

Thanks all. I ordered a basic cross body Overland bag from Amazon. This pooch of mine is expensive!
