Thanks, all. DH is pretty annoyed because he hasn't heard back from his doctor about why he is being recommended for those additional appointments. I guess the nurse couldn't answer any of his questions on the phone yesterday. I will keep you all posted. I've suggested mono before but he doesn't think his doctor has thrown that out as a possibility. The lump on his sternum has been there for a while - long before these throat and neck issues. Ugh.

BTDT with a different type of lump, and it was totally benign. Keep reminding yourself that MOST lumps are benign but they are obliged to check out all possibilities. It's good that he's getting it checked, as stressful as it for you all. HUGS.
