    This event opened yesterday.

We are going in August, so we are excited.

There is a package you can buy that gets preferred seating for parade, sing a long, and dessert party for the fireworks. But we are going with extended family, so probably won't do the package.

Lots of videos available and many reviews.

We may be going in August too. Our DDs love Frozen, and we hadn't planned any other vacation. I'm deciding if I think it's ridiculous to go, it's not like they'd know what they are missing. Do you think Disney will extend it? I'd much rather take time off in October and go when the weather is more pleasant (I have no problem missing a few days of 1st grade!) Argh, decisions!

Well, we have a 4 day weekend now in October as well as the 4 day weekend in November.

But word on the dis boards is it will NOT be extended. The floats they use for the Frozen parade are the same ones they use for MNSSHP and also for the MVMCP. It's also many of the same cast members as well.

There's a 30+ page thread on the disboards about this event and the opening day that I spent hours reading. Lots of good info there, but I think the events are definitely still being tweaked. I've never been, but apparently it is very similar to the Star Wars weekends.

Personally, if it were just the 4 of us, I would definitely do the premiere package. Also, the fireworks show is LATE. It's at 9:15 between the 2 Fantasmic shows. The dessert party starts at 8.

We have been at WDW this week. Of all the Frozen stuff, we really liked the singalong and the Frozen fireworks. But they aren't until 9:45, so hard for little kids. And it's also pretty hard to get a good view of both the stage and the fireworks.

We were just there this week, too. We never stayed in the park for the fireworks, but the singalong was cute and the Frozen Funland was a nice place to relax.

The event has been extended through the end of September.

Looks like they are extending some of the Frozen stuff at HS through the holidays including the singalong. We are going on Nov and I hadn't been paying much attention to this bc it was going to be over. Now that it's extended, I'm a little confused about what we should plan to do and how it works. Are there multiple days/times and do I need a fast pass?

Looks like the big things to stick around are the Sing A Long (up to 10 shows a day) and the shop:

Based on the easywdw.com reports, it doesn't look like you should need to use a fastpass on the show unless it's after you've finished the first 3 & you want to get it as a fourth:

As I said, the best things were the Singalong and the fireworks. The other stuff was pretty meh. The Singalong looks like it should be easy to get tickets for, so I wouldn't bother with a FP+ personally. If they still have the fireworks, those were great.
