    Default Anyone use the Incognito?

    This: http://www.amazon.com/Safety-1st-Inc...dp/B00FLXBHIU/

DS1 is 56" tall and nearly meets the 5-step test for no booster. He's in an Evenflo Amp backless now and it just seems so tall off the seat. He's finding it not as comfortable now than he did a year ago. Plus, he's about the only 10 year old going into 5th grade using a booster . So far, no one has teased him and he knows he needs it, but I am wondering if we should get an Incognito - both to blend in better and maybe it's lower profile?

Is it easy to use? Comfy?

Bumping this. DD2 is almost 9 and 53.5in. She's fine in DH's car but in mine her knees don't bend over the seat. She's rearly close and this might get her through, although she is convinced she will stop using the seat completely when she turns 9. (Our state law is 8yo or 4ft 9in, whichever comes first.)

DS1 will be 11 in August and has been using the Incognito in my car (Mazda5) for most of this year. He's 92lbs and 58" tall. He doesn't use anything in our carpools' cars as he passes the 5-step test in their cars and in DH's as well. At first, he was using an Amp and when he switched to the Incognito he said it was too hard and that he didn't like it. I told him to give it a week though and he agreed and didn't complain after that. Now he says he really likes it. I tried sitting on it too and it's pretty hard, but I'm sure anyone can get used to it. It's super low and really does just blend in with the seat. When my mom was visiting she didn't even notice it and sat down on it when she got in the car and didn't realize she was sitting on something till about 5 minutes later! So yeah, it really is incognito!

Yup, have it, like it. Leah's not old enough to hate boosters yet (knock on wood, she likes a couple of the others we have for various reasons), but she uses it interchangeably with all the rest in the lineup and it's terrific.
What color interior do you have? The light gray is *really* light, the dark gray is more actual gray, not too dark.

    It's a medium gray - Honda Odyssey from 2010.

I think I'll order one and give it a try. Do any stores sell it or just online?

It came today, but it doesn't fit well. It makes the shoulder belt on the very edge of his shoulder and almost off it. It might work in another position in the car, but he was fine with the Amp really, so this is going back.

I wish you kept it so I could see, I don't understand how it could do that, how is the problem not worse in a booster that actually lifts him up? Verrrrrry interrrresting!

I'll take a picture. We were on vacation, so I haven't done anything with it.

Seriously, why am I so picture impaired? Click it and turn your head to see, rofl.

Anyway, one was the natural lean she had for filling in mad libs, belt still an inch from the outside of her shoulder, fortunately, and the other is the wooden-face-hair-pulled-back look, good center of shoulder. She wants a black one to match the new car...
