I can't imagine having to choose between this woman's options. And I can't imagine judging her when I have so many advantages she does not. Hopefully this will spurn a conversation about affordable child care in her community and nationally.
Pretty much sums it up for me. We can go on about how we would do things differently, but what it boils down to is that we have choices, this woman did not appear to. We are not in her situation, how do we really know what we would do if we were? And now I see that she was fire. People like this just never get a break, it makes me so sad. And mad!
