I just found the movie Born Free (circa 1965) in Amazon Prime this evening. My 3 DC LOVED it!!! Such a sweet movie about a couple who raises a female lion cub and then attempts to reintroduce her to the wild. There is gun usage present in the movie but only for protection. Such a wonderful find...and especially on Amazon Prime!!! DD2 was crying tears of joy at the end...beautiful movie for all ages!!!Just thought I'd share.
