Default What to do with fake lovesac

I accidentally bought a fake EUC lovesac through a "fairly safe" facebook group. It is 7ft in diameter---huge, but it was for the kids in the basement. It was listed as a lovesac and the woman told me it was a lovesac. I trusted her. I really wanted a REAL lovesac. Didn't think to go to the Lovesac store FIRST to see what marks it has. Silly me.

Then there was a problem with it and I contacted lovesac and they told me I had a fake. All the tags had been ripped off, which had caused the problem of leaking stuffing, I realized later. Sometimes I am so naïve.

I contacted the lady who sold it to me and she is refusing refund. I contacted the admin and she suggested I resell it. I have a hard time reselling it now because I know it is a s*x sak! I found a zipper pull that says "liberator bedroom adventure gear". How gross is that? She keeps insisting it's a real lovesac. I'm out over $100...

    Suggestions?

I would resell it, but not use the words Love Sac, as that is a registered name, and just take a hit and a lesson learned. Sucks, but not sure what your other options are. Sorry you were put in a sucky situation.

Well, I guess it is a love sac. Sorry, couldn't resist. I'd resell or donate too.

I would post in the group about your bad experience with this particular seller as well.

I had to look up what a Lovesac was. I automatically assumed it was for loving. Like the one you actually received.

How long ago did you receive it? Did you pay via paypal? I know paypal isn't as good with buyer protection for non-eBay purchases but you might look at opening a claim with them.

That stinks!!!!!! We had a SuperSac LoveSac and loved that thing. Took up half our living room!

I think I would resell as a knock off and try to recoup a little money. We bought ours on Black Friday. Shipped to us for a think 50% off?
