Default How to get play dough out of a shaggy blanket

We have just discovered play dough. So much fun but we didn't think to use a hard surface so it is now stuck in the shaggy blanket on our chair. Lots and lots of little pieces, some dry some not. Can I just stick it in the wash or do is there a trick to getting it out first? TIA

We usually just let it all dry out and then vacuum up. I guess it would depend on how stuck it is, but that may work - as long as no one steps on it until before you vacuum.

I wouldn't wash, may just turn it to goo again. I would let it dry and try to brush loose what you can and shake it out or use a vacuum.

Another vote for dry. Plus it is an outside only toy over here.
