They work every time and generally do not require tons of time to yield a great and consistent result.
Ina is great! Her recipes are simple and they work. Her parmesan roasted broccoli and gremolata green beans are two of my favorite quick and easy side dishes and the tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons is often requested by DS.

Agree about Ina. Haven't done a ton, but all have been a hit and rarely complicated.

Yep we love almost everything we've made from her cookbooks and blog. I just made her blackberry margaritas and they were a huge hit.

I'm not a fan. It feels like heresy to say that here.

But I just cook very differently than she does, and her breathless pre-recipe storytelling and food-prep pr0n does not resonate with me.

I just scroll down for the recipe.

I have liked most of her recipes. I enjoy reading her cookbooks too. I don't like reading the blog as much (I scroll down, like I said). Good pictures too.

I have enjoyed every single thing I've every made of hers! I rarely watch her actual cooking show, but when I do, I just stare in awe of her kitchen the entire time rather than actually watch the cooking.

Default do your kids/family like The Pioneer Woman recipes?

Glad I am not the only one, but yeah sometimes it does seem like heresy to not like something she has done.

I love Ina Garten recipes when I have a free Sunday to cook all by myself. I feel like my Ina recipes are better when I have zero distractions.

For everyday cooking when I need a quick recipe I have had good luck with the Skinny Taste blog (she has a cookbook coming out soon!), or allrecipes.com.

My Costco has the Pioneer Woman, an Ina Garten cookbooks.

We love her at our house. Ina's recipes always seem to complicated for me (I hate to cook), but maybe I just haven't found the right ones?

As for PW, here are the ones that have been hits. My kids are picky. Our reviews are based on DH and myself (and possibly neighbors since we tend to eat with them a lot). The * recipes are the ones we make pretty frequently.

Salsa - everyone I make this for raves about it. Use canned plum tomatoes. Just adds a little something to it.*
    Cajun Chicken Pasta *
    Chicken Piccata *
    Penne a la Betsy *
    Marlboro Man Sandwiches
Spicy Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork *
    Mashed Potatoes
    Apple Dumplings
Baked French Toast (I could eat this every dang day)
    BBQ Meatballs
    Holiday Bacon Appetizers
    Blackberry Cobbler
    Bowtie Chicken Alfredo *
    Olive Cheese Bread
    Patty Melts
    Chocolate Sheet Cake *
    Potatoes Au Gratin
    Salisbury Steak Meatballs
    Shrimp Scampi *
    Sloppy Joes *
