What Seat Comes Next?

DD is 4yrs old, 42" tall, ~36-40lbs.

We currently have her FFing in a Britax BLVD70 and MA70.

She may have outgrown both by torso height.

She does NOT pass the seatbelt test, so I'd prefer to keep her harnessed.

What seat(s) should I be looking at?

Frontier 90. Ds1 has similar stats (he's 5) and the frontier is perfect for him.

We have a Frontier 90 as well, but I only bought it because it was $195 on the Amazon warehouse. Had I not found this seat I was leaning towards the Evenflo Sureride.

If the straps are completely over the top of the shoulders than the seat is out grown. If it is equal to the shoulder line it is still okay and could last a month or a year.

This is DD1 at 5 yrs., 42 or 43" and about 38lbs in the Blvd 70 when I bought it for then 1 yr. old Dd1. I will try to do a photo of DD2 in the seat this weekend.

Annie - the photo of E in L's seat is very helpful, but I think that my DD (G) is about the same height/weight now as E is in your photo!

I think that, before I buy new seats, I'll have to physically measure her seated torso-height position because I think her shoulders are above the top slots and as far as I can tell, we've moved the straps all the way up.

(At this point, I just need them to last until I get a job.)
