I bet you could call the electric or gas company to see past bills or at least ball park.

Thanks! I talked to the previous owner who was very kind about filling me in on lots of things. He was single and in his 60s. He explained to me that he pretty much just lived in the bedroom when it was cold...so no real way to tell what usage for our family would be.
