Wow. Gotta love the hysteria bringing out the best in people here
DH and I were talking about this and we are not super concerned (and DH's coworker works at that hospital). Since it's not airborne like the flu (and requires bodily fluid contact) it makes a huge difference. I think the fear/craziness is rather overblown.
I think the hysteria is way overblown. They are saying he didn't have any symptoms when flying so the chances anyone in the flights could have caught it are in effect zero. They are just focusing on family members and healthcare workers he might have come into contact with after becoming symptomatic which is when the illness is contagious. I'm not concerned at all and feel very safe traveling.

Best place to go is the CDC website for updates:
http://www.cdc.gov/
And here's their press release from yesterday regarding this case:

Hope that helps!
People get afraid of things they don't understand. And the media feeds on that and does a great job of whipping up the hysteria. .
My my husband was in Scotland this week and is flying through Heathrow to get to Amsterdam today. Next week he flies to Brazil. He flies almost weekly. The only thing I'm worried about is a random bedbug finding it's way into his suitcase. I'm not concerned at all about Ebola.

I a more concerned about Enterovirus right now than Ebola. And I live in the DFW area where the US patient is.
