Ideas for 9 year old girl party at home~

5 is darned hard to make schedule wise. Also, I get the kids would like being out later.

Ok, you're right 5 would be hard. I didnt really think of that since I get home at 3. Would Friday from 6-9 work better? Or should I do Saturday from 5-8? Will parents think 9 is too late? My daughter is turning 9, but most of her friends will still be 8. I'm thinking we'd do pizza, popcorn, a movie, decorate cupcakes and do presents and it would be over. Would saturday be better? Personally I'd rather get it overwith on Friday.
My college friends are supposed to come up that weekend and stay over. Which is a drag for timing, but they are very laid back and the party wouldnt bother them. I might like to get it done on Friday though and have the rest of the weekend to relax. But I'll do Saturday if everyone thinks thats a better day or time.

6-9 on Friday sounds fine to me. I think getting it done on Friday makes sense.
