What shoes to wear with khaki cords

I don't know what shoes to wear with them. I was thinking of getting a brown bootie. I need a low heel as wearing all day while working at a school and I never sit down.

How about something like this? Or would a darker brown look better?

I've always wanted the Sam Edelman Petty in the putty color - would they work with the khakis? They also come in dark brown leather and saddle leather, that I like too

I'd go with the color of the Clarks or darker. eta- like booties. A pair of Toms in a dark blue or red might be nice too. Nordstrom has these flats that could work too:
