The salesman really pushed the kitchenaid because of the way it drys the dishes and it was $300 less than the comparable Bosch. I think it was a great choice.

    We got this one:

It's one of the Superba series. Its last years model and has been discontinued. The new model had some minor diffences that didn't seem worth the extra $$. We got the showroom floor model on clearance.

We got a Bosch 800 with the 3rd rack and I love it. I would never go back to a 2 rack dishwasher again! Ours is super quiet and I only know it's on because of the red dot it beams on the floor. I didn't like the Miele dishwashers when I saw them in person. I highly recommend trying them out in the store and bringing your dishes with you. I liked the Bosch 800 better than the 800 plus as the layouts were different. And I needed my huge cutting board to fit with our tall water bottles.
