Christmas gifts (not family or teachers)?

For other special folks? Like:

Cleaning person
Crossing guards
Girl Scout troop leader

We usually give a month's worth of extra pay to our cleaning lady which is probably exactly what she would want. I'd like to get our 2 crossing guards and our GS troop leader something too - they work hard to keep our kids safe and make sure they're learning good life values!

Do people normally just give GCs? If so, how much?

Crossing guard and troop leader- $10-15 coffee shop, movie theater or local restaurant gc and thank you card.

I would do a gc and card from child for crossing guard unless there is soemthkng specific you know they want. Ours mentioned once that her umbrella was junk so we bought her a nice one for Christmas one year.
