Default Christmas brunch or breakfast recipes?

What will you be serving? I am in a rut- Paula Deen's French Toast casserole w praline topping (made with challah bread) and an Epicurious egg and sausage dish someone posted 2 years ago. Both are delicious. I have a frittata recipe I might make from Real Simple- ds1 loves it. I'll prepare some breakfast meats and potatoes too.

I will be watching this thread too! I think I make the same Epicurious egg and sausage breakfast casserole that you make! I have made a hashbrown quiche mentioned on the BBB many years ago, and that was good too.

I make a similar egg, sausage, cheese, milk, bread casserole that my family likes. I also make roasted sweet potatoes (diced, with a little coconut oil, salt and cinnamon; bake at 400 until soft) and blueberry muffins. but, this is our normal breakfast fare. i wish I had something just for christmas. growing up, we always had tarts and cinnamon rolls, but I have to feed my crew protein or the day is not fun.

I copy my mom's green chile pie. No recipe, but whole green chiles laid flat on a pie plate, topped with 6 eggs/milk/salt/pepper/shredded cheddar. Baked for a while. So good. Neat tanginess from the chiles.

For Christmas morning I've often made one of these:
King Arthur's Monkey in a Tree (monkey bread; I make it in a regular 9X12 pan) http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recip...-a-tree-recipe
Bon Appetit's French Toast Bread Pudding, super easy http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/fo...PUDDING-108944

This year I think I'm going to try the King Arthur No-Fuss Coffee Cake: http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recip...recipe#reviews
along with this potato, sausage and spinach breakfast casserole http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/fo...sserole-368302. I love how the first three dishes are prepped the day (or more) before and I just pop in the oven Christmas morning. The breakfast casserole I would prep everything the day before except the egg mixture, and just do that in the morning.
