I clip dh's hair at home. He's kind of a cheap-o about that kind of stuff.
He does it at home - Flobee baby!
I cut it for him at home
He goes to a salon
He goes to a barbershop
He goes to a Super Cuts / chain type place
He's bald
His hair is long, never needs a cut

Barbershop! His hair is super short so he gets it cut every 2 to 3 weeks and consequently he ends up spending more per year than I do, lol!
DH cuts his own hair at home with clippers. Been doing it for years to save money. I once put a small hole in the back so I am no longer allowed near him with clippers.
I recently broke our clippers and bought a new one for $17. I cut DS's hair.
I cut it! His sister taught me how to do it. I think it looks really good and saves us some money, since he normally would have to go every 4-6 weeks otherwise. I have my own shears and good quality clippers we bought from Sally's. I've gotten to the point where when I do it he says I'm as fast as the people he used to go to.

Our family is complete!
SO either has his mom do it or goes to walmart. He also had it done at the beauty school.

He goes to whichever chain that has a coupon at the moment - Supercuts, Great Cuts, etc. The hair cut he asks for is a "blend 2", whatever that means!

Flobee family here! My FIL bought a Flobee ~20 years ago when he got tired of paying NYC/NJ prices for haricuts for himself. He thinks it's one of the greatest inventions of all time, so he bought a bunch more and gave them out to pretty much all his male relatives. My husband still uses his.
I cut my boys' hair with clippers. I think clippers are easier than dealing with the Flobee + vacuum setup.

living a crazy life with 3 boys
I am thinking now
of grief, and of getting past it;
I feel my boots
trying to leave the ground,
I feel my heart
pumping hard. I want
to think again of dangerous and noble things.
I want to be light and frolicsome.
I want to be improbable beautiful and afraid of nothing,
as though I had wings.

DH's grandmother cut his hair all growing up. When she passed away, he couldn't handle the idea of anyone else cutting his hair. So, he started cutting his own. I get called in to "clean up" the edges & back, but he handles the rest.
ETA: and, yes, he actually uses a Flobee.
