I ordered a few pairs of the green/orange Merrell shoes from the amazon deal. The first one is coming apart after a month! So strange for this brand.. Anyone else have this problem? In wondering whether to exchange it or return..

We haven't had this problem yet, and I hope that we don't! I'll keep an eye on it though as we got several pairs as well. Sorry you're having issues. Not at all what I would have expected from Merrell.

Is the loop strap coming apart on yours? I see one reviewer had that issue.

I bought a pair for DS to wear after he outgrows his current shoes, so he hasn't really worn them yet. I would not be happy to find them falling apart after one month. I'll be following this thread.

Zappos has more of the negative reviews (same issues) but most reviews are good.

Oh no! I have a pair in the next size up for DS1. I would expect more from Merrell!

No issues with ours except that they are tight so if you have a child with wider than normal feet they'll pinch.

No issues with ours, both boys wear them daily. I also bought a few sizes up and won't be happy if they don't last.

DD broke her Velcro strap when she tried them on so I exchanged them. Haven't tried them since we got the new ones. I got 3 pairs... sizes 1, 2 and 3 so I hope they all work! Weird that's common.
