Default Booster for very occasional use

My 5.5yo is very rarely (twice this school year) picked up by a 15 passenger van when his school bus is late. I would like to purchase a very inexpensive and lightweight low back booster for him to use in this van. He would have to carry it into school and bring home on the bus, hence light weight. Any recs? The van ride is 5 minutes long on back roads.
    Thanks!

Is there no other option besides that 15-passenger van? I would not let my child ride in one, booster, harnessed, or other. http://www.nhtsa.gov/people/injury/b...oncom.hmp.html

ETA: They also tend to not have headrests, so if using a backless booster, you'd have to make sure the tops of the ears are below the top of the vehicle seat.

Our school used those vans in kindergarten though not sure of occupancy (I want to say smaller than 15 kids). They didn't worry me. Any booster should do the trick. I'd pick out whatever Graco type one you see at the store and like.

Cosco Top Side is on Amazon.... http://www.amazon.com/Cosco-Top-Side.../dp/B006ZISVSO Really light and easy to use. It is *incredibly unusal* because it requires the shoulderbelt to go above the armrest on the buckle side, but I find that's easier for little kids to manage, anyway, it's the seat I use for my little daycare kiddo and he likes it in several of the cars he rides in.
