Any experience with IKEA beds and mattresses?

my ILs have 2 sets of bunk beds with the mattresses. so far so good...my kids love them. They also have the sweetest little white metal bed from ikea. bigger then a toddler but not as long as a twin. while I admit, not the most practical of beds, it is adorable and my dd loves to sleep in it when we visit.

My dd has this bed. We love it. It's an expandable bed from a toddler size, to junior size (longer than toddle but shorter than twin) and twin size. The width is twin width. We did switch to a regular twin mattress once we expanded it all the way as the expandable mattress is 3 pieces and harder to change the sheets with. She didn't mind the 3 piece mattress though. It is a very pretty little girl bed.
