Here, too -- it hit 80 the other day, then we just had "tender plant warnings" for actual temps in the 20s this weekend. But NC weather is always highly changeable.

The Spring flowers are nice, though!

So things are in bloom in NC? I was considering that as a destination. I want leaves, flowers...

Definitely not. We still have snow on the north facing hills. We are also still wearing winter coats. So tired of this winter weather!

The first crocus just opened up in our garden today. But the girls were wearing hats and gloves while they were out on their scooters. DD1 is very worried about that poor little flower.

Yup, our area is pitiful. My forsythia haven't even budged yet. I did have one crocus open up but my daffodils are just a few inches high. I don't know when I've seen spring this late. We opted not to attend a neighborhood egg hunt this morning because the wind chill was 17. Ugh.

Leaves, flowers, pollen ... we've got 'em! Near my place, I see daffodils, camellias, star magnolias, and Bradford pears in bloom (plus other stuff I'm forgetting).

We tried to clear downed limbs today and there is still a solid foot of snow in the backyard.
