My son is starting preschool on 4/6!!! I was told that I need to purchase a backpack. Specifically a "regular" sized backpack. I ordered the Skip Hop bag and I think it's too small. Any advice? I'm having a really hard time as I've never need to buy a backpack for my son previously plus the school year is almost over!

My daughter is in Kindergarten and has one from Garnet Hill, which we like. You can also get them from Lands' End & Pottery Barn Kids.

i recently bought a backpack for my DD starting PreK from PBK. I bought the small, not mini and it fits a folder as well.

The small PBK works pretty well for us too. DS3 has a hockey one with his name on it. He thinks it is the coolest.
