Default What do you put in your coffee?

I've been putting in 2% milk forever (or whole, when that's what the kids drank). But more and more I'm feeling like the milk doesn't really agree with me. I've been drinking milk my whole life but now it seems like it makes me feel kind of bloaty, especially first thing in the morning. Plus, I'm thinking maybe I could switch to something that would have fewer calories? But I don't want something that's not natural so maybe that's not possible. Should I try almond milk?

ETA: Okay, maybe almond milk isn't a good option. Maybe I just need to cut back the milk.

I use whole milk but also will take almond milk (unsweetened) or coconut milk (in a can). Coconut milk is awesome but really calorie/fat heavy

Can you experiment with different gourmet coffees? Maybe you will find one you like enough to drink black.

What about a liquid creamer? They are loaded w/ sugar and calories, but ironically some don't have a lot of actual milk in them. Like choosing the lesser of two evils, in a way.

Love almond milk these days. I thought I could never give up milk in coffee. You need to really careful what brand you buy

At home, I use 2% milk, just because it's what we have. At work, I use soy milk. It has fewer calories (even though I use just a splash, so it really doesn't make much of a difference) and I enjoy the taste. I've tried buying Trader Joes soy for home use, but it seems to curdle, so I'll try another brand. Have you tried other types of 'milk'--soy, almond, ect. in your coffee?

I use half and half. I only drink 1 cup of coffee per day and don't put in much.

Half n Half or 2% reduced fat milk. I do a 12 oz cup of coffee and 3-4 oz. of the cream/milk. It is the only milk I drink most days.
