Default Husband refuses to replace HBB in car accident with airbag deployment

He argues that since no one was in the booster seat when our caregiver got into an accident with airbag deployment on the expressway it is safe.

I'm upset because the KidFit manual clearly says to replace after an accident.

    How dangerous is this?

It's impossible to argue with him

It's not my car. We're using the car seat now.

Even though it's not your car, the car insurance of the car the seat was in should pay for a new seat (or if a different car was at fault, that cars insurance.)

The seat will be free to you. It's foolish to turn down a free seat even if yours was not damaged.
