DD2 graduated from her balance bike last month and is riding a 12" Trek Mystic. I have been searching for a kickstand for it but haven't been able to find one locally. The bike shop special ordered one that they thought would fit, but it is way too long, and they told me that they think the only kickstand for this size bike is training wheels.Has anyone found one that will work?

Our bike shop cut down a longer kickstand so it would work on DS's 12" bike. Can that do that for you?

If length is the issue, you can cut down the adult size kickstand to fit or Walmart has an adjustable one by Bell that looks like it might work (reviews there and on Amazon mention 12" bikes).

Thank you all! I should have also mentioned that there isn't a hole in the frame to bolt a kickstand onto, like my older kids bikes have. It needs to mount near the rear wheel instead. They didn't offer to cut one down, but that is a good backup plan. (I don't think this particular bike shop does much with kids bikes - they only seem to stock adult bikes for sale)
