I am looking for tops/tees that are:
--not sheer or see through at all
--short sleeved or 3/4 sleeved (not cap sleeved or sleeveless), as I like to hide arm flab
--longer length (not crop; hi-low is fine, so long as the front is longish too)
--preferably not v-neck or low cut neckline
If anyone can provide any recommendations, I would be grateful!

Have you tried Chicos? Their tees seem to fit your requirements. Nice thicker fabric, mid-upper arm sleeves and long enough to cover the belly. The v-neck is very modest. DD has several of these and LOVES them. (I prefer a shorter sleeve, so none foe me.) My mom LOVES them too, as she wants to cover the "old lady" arms. They also have 3/4 sleeve shirts on the website. Can't speak to those, as I've never worn them.

Reviews are good, seems folks think it's not too thick and not too thin. For sheerness, do you have a nude bra that matches your skin? That has been lifechanging for me...totally opens up what I can wear on top in terms of how sheer tees are!

I've seen shirts like that at Kohl's. I was there to spend my free $10 and they had crew neck or a modest scoop in thicker cotton with good length.
