Loved it too. I also liked the Perfume Collector, We are also Completely Beside ourselves, big little lies, the husband's secret, the language of flowers, the invisible bridge and the interestings.

Cori have you ever used goodreads.com? If you put in a book that you enjoyed on the right it will give you recommendations of books that were enjoyed by readers who also like the same book. I've found several series/ authors I liked using that site

The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon
North of Normal by Cea Sunrise Person

I also agree with JBaxter's suggestion of searching Good Reads (although like any review site some reviews are better than others).

Lately I have been on a Tom Perrotta kick . . . The Leftovers, The Abstinence Teacher, just starting Little Children.

If you like that type of satire, then Christopher Buckley is also very good. I liked Florence of Arabia, Thank You for Smoking, and Supreme Courtship a lot.

In the mystery vein, I am now up to date on the Jacqueline Winspear books (Maisie Dobbs mysteries, recommended by someone on here as I recall) and the Anne Perry "Pitt" books (William and Charlotte Pitt mysteries). I like both series a lot.

Also, recommended by my favorite librarian (I have known her since she was a part-time high school shelver and now she is the head librarian at the small town library that I favor over the big county library) and quite compelling, The Devil's Detective, here: http://www.amazon.com/Devils-Detecti...+kurt+unsworth

I can't tell you how much I LOVED this book, because it truly motivated me and made me feel great about the American spirit. It is a required summer read book for our middle and upperschool, and we gave it as graduation presents to several relatives who were graduating from highschool this spring. Without fail, every person I know who read it feels better about life having done so.
