If you haven't read Big Little Lies, which was recommended by a previous poster, it is by the same author as Still Alice, and I really enjoyed it.
I loved the Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and loved it, but it is heavy and IME people either love it or hate it.
What did you think of Orphan Train? I was all set to buy it, but then read some very critical reviews on Goodreads.
I loved Orphan Train! You should definitely give it a try!
Actually, the author of Still Alice didn't write Big Little Lies. The author of Big Little Lies did write a book called What Alice Forgot. Very similar titles!
I just ordered All the Light We Cannot See from Amazon. Plus, I ordered The Shadow of the Wind and The Boys in the Boat.
