Wow, surprised by all the August start dates. I'm used to school starting after Labor Day. DDs' private school (NJ) hasn't decided yet if they're starting September 2 or 7. Go figure.

Sept 2 in NY public schools. This is the first time in probably the history of mankind that school starts before Labor Day. This is VERY disturbing for many of us born and raised in NY. Could be signaling the start of the apocalypse.......
