When Will Britax release new infant car seats after recall?

I had done so much research and was really set on the Britax Be Safe Elite infant car seat.
Then the recall came and all the car seats have been pulled.

How long until Britax releases new car seats?

What is a comparable car seat with the safe cell side protection?

It can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, in my experience, for seats to come back to market after a recall. If it's not back out in time, the Chicco Key Fit is a very good, safe, choice, with great head/side impact protection. Nuna Pipa is also a divine choice, it has a load leg to prevent downward rotation. Do you have a particular stroller you want your infant seat to work with?
