My girls loved the Magic School Bus series but have outgrown it. Is there another science based DVD series for older kids you can recommend?
Thanks!

My younger DD Netflix binged on Neil deGrasse Tyson's Cosmos over winter break.

Popular Mechanics for Kids. My kids (ages 2, 5 and 8) love this series and have learned a lot from the shows! The great thing is that the kids are the hosts and get to do all kinds of cool stuff. They have seen most of the Magic School Bus before so now we are watching this series (we put it on for them when we're driving on trips).

Wow. Thank you for the recommendations. These look great.
Another vote for popular mechanics. My kids also loved Wild Kratts, available on Netflix and Amazon prime video.
Not DVDs, but there are some great channels on youtube if you want to go that route. Crash Course and Minute Physics get a lot of airtime around here. The show Mythbusters also covers a lot of interesting science.

living a crazy life with 3 boys
I am thinking now
of grief, and of getting past it;
I feel my boots
trying to leave the ground,
I feel my heart
pumping hard. I want
to think again of dangerous and noble things.
I want to be light and frolicsome.
I want to be improbable beautiful and afraid of nothing,
as though I had wings.

Those Popular Mechanics shows look awesome! Thanks, Golden Pig. We needed some fresh road trip material since DS has watched every Wild Kratts, Magic School Bus and Liberty's Kids already.
