Default keep or toss - pizza rolls!

I bought these yesterday around 1:30 at Sam's while looking for a 6th Box Tops for Education item to get 200 pts for DD's class. Never would have otherwise - pepperoni flavor, 150 count if that matters. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...Ng_cHR06COink=

This morning at 11, I found them in my trunk. They are surely full of preservatives and just defrosted and fine to eat, right? I wanted my kids to try some junk food as they say I never buy them stuff like that. If they eat them and all 3 of them start puking because they sat in the (not freezing) car all night, that'll kill the junk food desire, right???

    Would you keep or toss?

    How warm is it outside?
I'm almost always a keeper (people toss way too much!) but I think I might toss those.

Toss. Unless you live at the North Pole and park outside.

I think it would depend on whether they defrosted to room temperature or refrigerator temperature. Were they cool-to-cold this morning? I'd say if they were kept under 45 degrees they'd probably be okay to serve, but I'd refrigerate them now and cook and eat them today. I definitely wouldn't refreeze.

I don't know, some people at work keep their frozen lunches in the fridge for more than one day. But I guess that goes with pp suggestion of under 45 degrees.

I bet they're just fine. I wouldn't eat them if they were in your trunk in the summer but winter...no big deal. Bacteria need warmth to grow and as you said, there are tons of preservatives.
