Thanks for the advice. I'll try those things out and see. I also ordered the Recaro ProSport from Amazon (for free return possibility) and I'm going to see how we like that too. I'm just not loving the Frontier so far (other than the amazingly simple install, sigh). I find it such a pain to tighten and DD keeps asking me when she can switch to some other seat because she says it's not very comfy. We'll see how the ProSport works out, fingers crossed....

I've heard a lot of people who absolutely love the ProSport, so yeah, it might be better suited to her size and more comfy.
Chest clips basically slide or break on impact, not a real injury risk, despite bruising that could happen anywhere on the chest or neck from them.

Just thought I'd update this -- I did end up buying a Recaro ProSport and returning the Frontier. I'm so glad I did -- DD hasn't complained about comfort at all in the new seat, and it's *SO* much easier to get her strapped in. I love the fact the shoulder straps are attached to the seat and don't move, love the racing stripes on the straps, and it's so easy to tighten it. The chest clip doesn't creep up like it was doing on the Frontier, either. Install wasn't quite as easy, but since we don't move the seat around much at all, it's a trade off I'm willing to take!

    Thanks for the suggestions.
