Instant pot cooking on chickpeas

I soak my chickpeas. I can't find how much water to put. Has anyone done this?

I don't usually measure the amount of water for beans if you're not going to need the liquid for some reason, just cover it by a few inches. Also, re: soaking - I made some super old (best by 2014!) unsoaked chickpeas in the IP a couple weeks ago - 65 minutes and they were perfect, amazingly enough. I was prepared to toss them but figured might as well give them a chance. If they're fresh 45 minutes unsoaked works well for me.
